This English course is designed to introduce German property valuers to the terminology currently being used in property valuation reports (Value by Income Approach, Sales Comparison Approach, Cost Approach). The goal is to provide a working vocabulary of the various segments of a report (incl. subject property description, market analysis, land registry, capitalization rate, KPIs etc.). As the class is open to speakers of all levels, the content will be specialized depending on the number of participants and their levels –if needed, the course can be divided into two 5-week blocks of different levels. It is imperative that all participants attend the first class.

We invite you to participate in the professional English language training for Polish property valuers in the online formula financed by Erasmus+. The training is dedicated to property valuers who already know English at least at the B2 intermediate level and want to develop their knowledge of specialist vocabulary in the field of property valuation.
The training will be conducted by Mrs. Aleksandra Serwińska, a certified translator of English, a long-term English teacher, translator of many reports of valuation and scientific articles in the field of property valuation.

The study, which includes an eBook, a practical Excel spreadsheet with a calculation model, a webinar are primarily aimed at presenting the principles of determining the discount rate using the WACC and using data from Prof. A Damodaran’s website.
An additional objective is to present a proposal for adapting the WACC to a discount rate suitable for commercial property valuation.
